More Khloe Pictures

Here she is in one of the little preemie outfits my mom and Kristin got for her. (I can't remember who gave us the pink one)
Here she is in a sweet little nightgown that my sister Alyse wore when she was a baby. She put it on her baby Kenley and let me borrow it for Khloe. It was so cute on her!

Khloe had Jaundice. Her scores were borderline in the hospital so they didn't put her under the lights until we got home. We had to take her every morning to get blood drawn and keep her under the lights as much as possible.
She did not like the light bed. I had to put socks on her hands and a hat on her so she would stop ripping the goggles off.

I love this picture with her big eyes! This was such a fun day because I could tell her Jaundice was getting better she was much more active and awake.
She is the best Valentine's gift either one of us could ask for! Jason has been such a good help. He has made me breakfast in bed the last three mornings and let me sleep in for a few hours which has really been nice. He has been so kind and willing to do whatever is needed. I love you!
My mom made these shoes for Khloe a few months ago. She whipped up this darling valentine's outfit a few days ago. She made one for all the grand daughters and we are going to get late Valentine's pictures.
Jason and I were loving her in this outfit! We cannot get enough of her!

KHLOE ROSE KEMBLE

She's here and we could not be more thrilled! She was born at 37 weeks 4 days.
Weight: 5 lbs 13 oz
Length: 18.5 inches

I had been on bed rest for 1 week and I went in for my second stress test. There were two concerning drops in the baby's heartbeat so they decided to induce me. I was at the hospital by myself. Jason was at work in Salt Lake and he had left his cell phone home (he never is without his cell phone, go figure!) I called up to his work and they found him in the new hire training that he was attending. They interrupted the training and announced that I was being induced. He hurried down to Provo. It was such a relief for me when he arrived. My parents had already come to the hospital to sit with me. They had just barely got the IV in (after 12 attempts) when he got there.

They started me on the petosin. It took from 7 pm until 5 am for me to fully dialate. When the doctor arrived, I started pushing. I pushed for about 20 minutes on 10 contractions and she was out! It was much easier than I had ever imagined. It had been so worried about the labor and delivery.
She was crying so loud. I loved the sound of it.

This picture was literally 2 minutes after she came out. I was so overwhelmed with joy and and still in shock from labor.

What a proud papa!

Look at all that hair!
