White Christmas and Brunch

I have had Christmas brunch every year with my dad's side of the family.  We have scones, ham, eggs, hash browns and grapefruit orange juice. My grandma said this was probably her last year doing it. She's 83 and feeding 60 people is a lot of work even with a lot of  others chipping in. I will miss going to her house but I am sure my parents will continue on with the tradition next year.

Christmas morning

Taysom got a train ball toy, a walker/bike, a tool bench and a  Mickey Mouse clubhouse movie. He was so chill and just watching all the action.

 

The girls loved their bikes, helmets, bed tents, fold out couches, slippers, board game, books, Barbie cars, nike shoes and new clothes! What a fun day filled with happiness and love! (And tired parents) 😃

Santa Came!!

We were so excited for the kids to wake up and see all the gifts he left!

New Christmas Eve PJ's 

Khloe LOVES Charlie Brown Christmas this year! She watches it daily. Her favorite Christmas carol is "Hark the Herald Angels Sing" she sings it all the time and loves that it is on the end of the show. She lived Taysom's Jammie's!

I told Khloe each letter and she wrote it all by herself. I love it! 

We also wrote down our "gift to Jesus" for the year and put it is the special stocking but I forgot to take pictures! 

We each chose: 

Khloe: -to be a friend to everyone

Marion: -share toys

Nicole: -talk nicely (no raising my voice during the morning before work craziness) and go to church every week

Jason: -go to church every week 

The kids were asleep by 10:00 which is later than normal but good considering how excited they were! 

Christmas Eve dinner

We went to Olive Garden for an early dinner (4:30) and the kids dressed up in their fancy Christmas church clothes. 

Marion loved her dad's ZuppAs Toscana soup. I love that she will try and eat almost anything! 

Taysom was good for most of dinner but started getting fussy at the end so Jason took him out to the van early so I could finish eating. 

The kids in South Carolina opened their gifts from us tonight. Mindi text Jason a bunch of pictures while he was out in the van waiting. Bubzy loved his new iPhone! He was smelling the box! 

We went back to my parents to have dessert and exchange gifts

Khloe got a pink unicorn from the movie "Barbie and the Secret Door" and Marion got a cash register and a shopping cart! Taysom got 5 baby Einstein toys that he LOVES!

Bonnett Family Party

We had the Bonnett Family party with my dad's family. There was about 80 people there. It was good to see everyone, our kids had a few meltdowns ( past their bedtime). It was a lot of work for Jason and I, but most outings these days are! I got the best Family gift in the gift exchange game it was a jar filled with ten bright colored silicone cooking utensils (spatulas, tongs, spoons, rubber scrapers).
