We decorated "New Years Trees" with hats and noise makers, hung the confetti/balloon drop, made a photo booth area and made Marion's cake. We couldn't wait for the guests to arrive!

We celebrated the New Year at 10 pm with the East Coast. We broke the balloon drop, had sparkling cider and lit fireworks. It was the best night! 

Birthday Sledding and cake

Marion's 4th Birthday

Sweet Marion turned four on December 27th. She got a sleeping beauty Barbie, Snow White doll, Belle umbrella, Sophia the First figures and a tube of play doh with tools. She wanted to go sledding again for her birthday activity. 

Sledding

The day after Christmas we went sledding! We haven't had very much snow the past few years so the kids could not wait to get out there! I went and borrowed snow gear from my parents that they had saved from when we were teenagers. Walmart was sold out of sleds but I found some at Kmart. It was such a FUN day! 

Christmas Morning

It was a White Christmas! It was fun to wake up to fresh snow. There was a lot of it! I think 12-14 inches. Khloe got an American girl Doll, Marion got a Doc McStuffins Cart, Tay got PJ Masks toys and the older kids got money, perfume/cologne and clothes. 

We went to my parents to have scones for brunch. We also exchanged cousin gifts. I was SO tired I left 2 gifts home so we had to leave my parents house twice and go get them on the super snowy unplowed roads. I WILL more organized next year or I will have cousin gifts bought and wrapped by Thanksgiving!

We had everyone over for Christmas Eve dinner and then we re-enacted The Nativity. This is a favorite tradition from my childhood!
